Sand Creek Animal Hospital is open:

Monday        8:00 am to 7:30 pm
Tuesday        8:00 am to 7:30 pm
Wednesday   8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Thursday       8:00 am to 7:30 pm
Friday           8:00 am to 5:00 pm

When the hospital is closed Dr. McDaniel and Dr. Carmichael are available to clients by phone until 10:00 pm seven days a week.  By calling the regular phone number (446-9171) your call will be forwarded to them and they will be able to advise you on the best care for your pet until we reopen.  If your pet has an emergency of an urgent nature you should proceed directly to the Capital District Animal Emergency Clinic, 222 Route 2 (1.2 miles east of the Latham traffic circle), 785-1094.  We feel strongly that the best place for serious emergencies is an emergency hospital.  They are a full service facility that is fully staffed throughout the night and are capable of handling any type of emergency, be it medical or surgical.  When we reopen your pet can be transferred to us for follow-up medical care.
