Helen:

Helen is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians.  She began working at Sand Creek October 2002.  Helen graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology and then went on to S.U.N.Y. Delhi to get her degree in veterinary technology. She has a daughter named Madison.  She also shares her home with a dog, Bruce( Dachshund mix), and 2 cats, Goldie and Mama. Helen loves being a veterinary technician. She finds it very rewarding and wishes she started this career earlier in life.

Erin:

Erin began working at Sand Creek in November 2008.  She is also a Licensed Veterinary Technician.  Erin graduated from S.U.N.Y. Alfred State College. She lives with her fiance, Jon. Outside of work Erin likes to snowboard, go to the gym, and basically be outside doing activities.   She says she loves her job and wouldn't ever do anything else!

Stephen:

Stephen began working at Sand Creek in October 2009.  He is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians.  Stephen graduated from SUNY Canton.  Although he enjoys working with different types of animals, his favorite animals to work with are big dogs.  Outside of work, Stephen enjoys playing tennis and racquetball, going to concerts, and biking.  He is a big Devils and Saints fan and his favorite t.v. shows are Family Guy and South Park.  Basically, Stephen just loves to laugh!  

Renee:

Renee recently joined the health care team at Sand Creek Animal Hospital in January 2011.  She is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and is a graduate of SUNY Delhi.  Renee has several pets, which include: 4 dogs, Pepsi, Bonnie, Minnie, and Ginger, and 4 cats, Sammy Cat, Oscar, Hazel, and Crush.  She enjoys several activities outside of work, such as camping, hiking, scrapbooking, card making, and swimming.  Renee says she enjoys working with all types of animals here at Sand Creek Animal Hospital!

Vicki:

Vicki has been working at Sand Creek since June 2002.  She is a graduate of Russell Sage College.  Vicki has a daughter named Stefanie and lives with her husband and her two cats, Murphy and Maynard.  Outside of work she enjoys running, doing aerobics and reading.

Kathy:

Kathy joined our team in July 2008.  She is a graduate of S.U.N.Y. Oneonta.  Kathy has 3 cats at home, Miller, Guinness, & Carter and she also has a rabbit named Sassafrass.  In her free time Kathy enjoys skiing, going to the gym, and dancing.  She really enjoys working with animals, especially cats and small animals.

Amanda:

Amanda joined our team in February 2007 as a veterinary assistant.  She graduated from S.U.N.Y. Cobleskill with a B.T. in Animal Science. She lives with her fiance, David, and and they share their home with a very sweet FIV-positive cat named Slater.  In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, dog training and behavior, cross-stitching, and shopping.  Amanda loves training dogs of all shapes and sizes.  She trains dogs for obedience, agility, rally, and most of all...fun!

Ryan:

Ryan joined our team in June 2007.  He grew up in Central New York and attended S.U.N.Y. Delhi.  Currently he is enrolled in an online course through Penn Foster to become a Veterinary Technician.  Ryan has 2 adorable little sugar gliders named Pippin and Piper as pets.  When he is not working, Ryan enjoys spending time with his friends, going out to dinner, and watching movies. He enjoys working with animals, especially dogs, and has been working in the animal care field since graduating from high school.

Kim: 

Kim began working at Sand Creek Animal Hospital in June 2008.  She is one of our veterinary assistants. Kim has a degree in nursing and works as a Critical Care Nurse in addition to working at Sand Creek.  She lives with her fiance and they share their home with Lois and Humphrey (2 adorable bunnies), Squidbait and Wasabi (cats), Ryder and Stella (American Pit Bulls), and Inubus (bearded dragon).  Outside work Kim enjoys horseback riding, hiking, camping, fishing, biking, and reading.  She says the best part of her job is interacting with all of our wonderful clients and especially loves caring for our canine customers.

Amanda H.:

Amanda H. began working at Sand Creek Animal Hospital in February 2010.  She is one of our Veterinary Assistants.  Amanda graduated from S.U.N.Y. Albany with a B.A. in Psychology and she also completed Penn Foster's online Veterinary Assistant Program.  She lives with her husband, Chris, and they share their home with 2 cats, Bean and Sprout.  Outside of work, Amanda enjoys making jewelry, reading, camping, spending time with family, and being outdoors.  Here at Sand Creek Animal Hospital, Amanda mostly enjoys working with dogs but also with nice cats! 

Jenna:

Jenna recently began working at Sand Creek Animal Hospital in May 2011 as a Veterinary Assistant.  She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster's Veterinary Technology program and is working towards becoming licensed as a veterinary technician.  She lives with her fiance, Greg, and they also share their home with an adorable boxer named Digby and two cats, Cacciatore and Scotti.  When she is not working, Jenna enjoys camping, swimming, shopping, and hanging out with family and friends.  Jenna says that her favorite animals to work with are big dogs but she really loves all animals!

Donna:

Donna joined the team in February 2005.  She is the Practice Manager.  She graduated from Southampton College of Long Island University with a B.S. in Psychology/Biology.  She lives with her husband, her son Brandon, daughter Emily, along with their Yellow Labrador, Buddy, and their 3 cats, Isabella, Phineas, and Bailey.  Donna enjoys outdoor activities, playing the piano, and spending time with her family. Before Donna joined our staff she used to train Guide Dogs for the Blind on Long Island from puppies through adulthood. 

Chrystean:

Chrystean began working at Sand Creek in September of 2002.  She is the Business Manager.  Chrystean graduated from Russell Sage College with her degree in Business Management. She lives with her husband and their daughter, Rachel.  They share their home with two dogs Mia (mix) and Sophie (mix), and two cats Sonny and Cher.  Outside of work Chrystean enjoys traveling, hiking, agility training, skiing, and spending time with her family.
